Okay I have seen the movie Julie and Julia (and the book) promoted like crazy so I thought I would check it out. Well, it lead me to another book that I believe they are promoting hand in hand.. Julia Child My Life in France by Julia Child with Alex Prud'homme.. I have just started reading but I am already smitten! I would recommend it just from the few pages I have finished. It is right up my alley...

My Sparrow - stylish responsibility
Just finished My Life in France and LOVED it! I didn't really know very much about Julie Child other than I remember seeing her on TV when I was a kid and that she cooked French food. Now I have a complete and totally new appreciation for her and what she accomplished. What an amazing woman -- if only I could have a pinch of her passion! Can't wait to see the movie!
