A week in Paris: La Tour Eiffel

I know I know.. it's touristy- it's crowded.. but it is always one of my favorites! If I went to Paris and I did not visit the Eiffel Tower I would somehow feel that I had missed something. I have tried to at least visit the park each time I have been to Paris and each time it is different. We have eaten at the restaurant and loved it, been to the top to watch the sun set at 10:45pm (best ever), and watched the lights come on in the evening. I love the gardens below and on a rainy day it is nice and quite. When we walked up to it and I saw the cherry tree in full bloom I almost died- the lighting was so perfect!

The neighborhood that surrounds it has the most amazing architecture! I would love to live here... maybe someday!

Visit the official site for what is happening right now and to buy tickets... And don't forget there are so many places that you can get a glimpse of the tower all over the city so keep your eyes open..

  2. Your photographs are beautiful. No better place than Paris when the blossoms are out on the trees. Thanks Christina for sharing them with us. So fun to be reminded of all the incredible architecture. It's been 13 long years since I've got to visit Paris. I would never visit w/o taking in the Eiffel Tower..never.

Enjoy and safe travels to you x

  3. Stunning photos! Thanks for sharing them. When my husband and I went to Paris several years ago for the first time, I didn't even think I wanted to see the Eiffel Tower. In the end, however, it was one of my favorite places. It's magical and you've captured it!

  4. Thank you for this inspiring post and fab photos. I live in Paris part of the year. My flat is in Montmartre and the views of the Eiffel Tower (especially when it is glittering) are breathtaking from this part of the city. Never to be taken for granted!
