Anthropologie takes the cup every time!

I know this will come as no surprise to many...  I am an Anthropologie lover!!!  They have the best stuff!  And their stores never cease to amaze me..  So in a little tribute to them I am posting about a fun idea that I stole from a friend of a friend... Liz Jonas (she designs some really great jewelry and is an all around creative person - love her house!)  Anyway one day when I went to a little Jewelry trunk show at her house she was serving goodies and coffee and tea... Well I spied the coolest thing- she was using one of my favorite Anthropologie Mugs the Monogram Mug but she had multiples with her initial on it.  I don't know why I never thought of it but alas I loved it and ran out to get my own set of Monogram mugs just for me and my morning cup of tea.

Just so fun and much better than a throw away cup for sure!

Plants on the Brain... and Molly Wood Garden Design

I must have plants on the brain today... I just received a great little email with inspiring photos from Molly Wood Garden Design. She is an amazing landscape designer that I met last year when she worked on Project Playhouse-definitely having her work on my home... someday!

She has a fantastic little studio and shop @1660 Orange Avenue Costa Mesa, CA 92627.

I had the pleasure of visiting last year around Christmas and picked up some great wreaths as well as a beautiful succulent box for a gift.

Lately my feelings toward the succulent have changed. I have never been a big fan of the succulent maybe because I expect different things from my garden. I don't want to feel like I live in the desert- you know. But lately I am falling for them-have they become more stylish? Do I like them for their drought tolerant style? Have they been cool all along and I am just crazy? Well, they look great here and are easy care and maintenance! And as you know having plants in your home has many benefits- better air quality and great accents to name a few!

Green Inspiration

We like it green here! One of my biggest inspirations for my personal green movement was Gorgeously Green by Sophie Uliano. She gave me the information that I needed to make better choices for myself, my family and the environment. This book is an easy read that is full of information. A great resource to keep referring to with your most important questions.

"Gorgeously Green is a lifestyle choice that is simple, easy and fun. Going Green doesn’t mean you have to go without. On the contrary, it’s the most exciting, fulfilling and wondrous way of life imaginable." From www.gorgeouslygreen.com
