I have had the recent pleasure of discovering Jennifer Alden's work while I was at SEED one day last week!! I just love it! Jennifer has skills with an education to back it up.. she attended London College of Design and Parsons School of Design in Paris and worked for Anthropologie on retail display (one of my alternate life dreamy jobs). Her current project "Block and Twigs" encompasses her life experiences and travel in tiny little beautiful pieces. In Jennifer's words they are "Vintage and location photographs... printed in sepia tone and lovingly stitched onto fabric, then attached to blocks of time-worn, weathered wood." See why I like them so much!

Setting the table.. a short series of posts.. Obsess much

So I am a little obsessed with Ceramics and dishes in general. They make me weak in the knees! I love the shapes of handmade pieces more than anything! So this morning I woke up early (cat meowing in my ear) and started thinking about dishes- I know weird huh! Well I had been thinking, you see my daughter who is in Kindergarten made this little pumpkin by hand, and why could I not do the same, I mean with dishes. So I am thinking of taking a ceramics class to see if I like it. I would love to hear if anyone has taken one and what they think of it??
Here are a few of my absolute favorite ceramics to dream about...

Blog hopping...My Notting Hill and Vintage Printable

Blog hopping is always my favorite activity and this week is no different... I was on one of my favorite blogs My Notting Hill (check out her post on the renovated church too!) and she did a really great post about a site called Vintage Printable. Amazing if you love vintage documents, letters and artwork you will be hooked! They offer a huge variety of images for free. Vintage pieces make a space so unique and now you have so many all in one place.

What a great resource!!
