This is a great little green project! We are reusing someones cast off and making it new again with just a little paint and elbow grease.

New bed... New project
Just before Christmas my mom called with a wonderful discovery.. she had seen these beds at a thrift store near by and we just had to have them! They are a little worn but it was a deal I could not pass up. There is a set of 2 so one will be painted white and go to my daughter and the other will more than likely be painted black and go off to be sold. I so wish that we had a room big enough to hold both because I love the look of double twins in a room but alas it is not meant to be..

ReplyDeleteDo not....I repeat....Do not get rid of the other bed...take it apart and store it flat. I came across 2 adorable twins like this years ago at the Long Beach swap meet, oh how I miss that place, anyway, I only used 1 bed for years due to 900 sq.ft. beach cottage, and then we moved and my daughter finally had room for both. She loved it for sleepovers and it was handy when company arrived. Today I use them together as guest beds & am so glad to have both!
