rainy Saturday

It is a rainy Saturday here!  I love the is image though it makes me think I should be cleaning instead of lounging!  Tomorrow is the flea market so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain is gone by then. 

Next week we are making some big changes on the site, just a little reworking of our product line to get back to the true part of ourselves.  Stop by the shop to see what is on sale too!

Feeling beachy...

 

This is one of my favorites from an old Coastal living.  I just love the artwork of Eric Zener and this space is so relaxing.  Can you just imagine coming back from a walk on the beach with some little pieces you have collected and taking an afternoon nap on that day bed?  

Can you tell I am ready for the warm weather.

Napping...

Just had lunch and all I can think about is taking a little nap... 

Above is our great line of organic linen bedding and sheeting...  looks perfect right about now!

Recycled bed design... the pallet bed frame

I am loving this recycled bed frame made from palletts.  Great for the starving college student who would more than likely toss their furnishings after school anyway.  Fun, simple and totally in style.

I love the all white back drop and the touch of color.  So lovely!

Matteo Bedding Retail Showroom - LA

Last week I was lucky enough to go to LA with my WONDERFUL customer/friend Liza who took me to the Matteo Retail showroom!  I was in love- The exterior was fantastic - it is covered in reused wood pallets that were placed across the face of the building.  I loved the look and feel of the space.  They used the pallets inside to line all of the walls and to make up the counter.  What a creative and amazing idea to reuse these textured pieces. 

They are having a big sale this weekend.  If you are in the area you should stop by and see their bedding is amazing and great quality.

New Bed project update...

So it has been a little while since I showed you my daughter's new used bed. It was so cute! I actually scored two beds and I did get to keep the second one for someday when we have a room that will hold two twins.

Here is the bed after...in Miss V's room.. it is very pink in there but when you are five pink is the bomb! I have a great little bird wall decal that I bought her in Paris that I still need to put above the pink scalloped wainscot. Someday... for now she has a new bed that she loves. Even if she is like the princess and the pea sleeping up high!
